Capillaries
Treatments
Echuca Skin & Health Group can help you calm red and angry blood vessels that are common on the face.
What are Capillaries?
Capillaries, also known as spider veins or broken capillaries, are tiny blood vessels that become visible near the surface of the skin, often appearing as small red or blue lines. These dilated capillaries can be caused by various factors, including genetics, sun exposure, hormonal changes, aging, and certain medical conditions. While they are typically harmless, capillaries can be a cosmetic concern for many individuals, particularly when they appear on the face or legs, leading to self-consciousness and a desire to seek treatment.
At our clinic, we offer advanced treatments to effectively target and reduce the appearance of capillaries, restoring smooth and even-toned skin. Say goodbye to unwanted capillaries and hello to clearer, more radiant skin with our customised capillary reduction services.

Capillaries Frequently Asked Questions
Often as we age Spider Veins, or Telangiectasias, are those small red, blue and purple blood vessels that appear most frequently on the face and thighs. They are formed by the dilation of a small group of blood vessels located close to the surface of the skin. Although they can appear anywhere on the body, spider veins are most commonly found on the face and legs. They usually pose no health hazard but may produce a dull aching in the legs after prolonged standing.

Unfortunately, they will not fade away or heal with time.
Spider veins cannot always be prevented. Wearing support hose may minimize unwanted blood vessels from developing. Keeping one’s weight at a normal level and exercising regularly may be helpful, as well as eating a high-fibre diet and wearing low-heeled shoes. Sun protection is important to limit the number of unwanted vessels on the face.
